Dr. Rebecca Stanley is a manager of education consulting with expertise in STEM education, instructional design, and adult learning. Before joining RTI, Dr. Stanley held roles coaching new teachers, designing professional development for STEM schools, and teaching science at multiple levels. She also has experience in curriculum development and work-based learning. She has worked with teachers across the nation to implement high-quality inquiry-based and STEM learning for all students. At RTI, she has led the development of a suite of supports related to STEM for schools, districts, states, nonprofit organizations, and the federal government, including the design of targeted STEM content, the implementation of schoolwide STEM practices, the development of partnerships in STEM, and strategic planning centered on STEM as a model for school improvement. 

For the last two years, Dr. Stanley has served as the Consortium Chair for the Defense STEM Education Consortium (DSEC), combining her unique perspectives as a practitioner, coach, designer, and consortium leader to inform her unique understanding of what it takes to improve STEM education at the micro- and macro-levels.
